Welcome
We are happy to announce The Minto Skating Club's bi-annual Gala "Under The Big Top". All skaters that are currently registered in the January to April CanSkate Program have paid a $20 show fee (non-refundable) at the time of registration. This fee is to help cover the cost of outfits for the skater and one adult admission ticket to the show.
When acknowledging participation in the show (registration button), please indicate your child’s size for costuming. You may also be asked to provide tights or a bodysuit, for example, depending on the costume requirements.
Your child will participate in one show, the afternoon show at 2pm or the evening show at 6pm. Skaters are asked to arrive at the rink 45 min prior to their show time. The duration of each show will be approximately 1hr 30 mins.
Parents are not permitted in the dressing rooms during the show, other than the volunteer dressing room attendants. We need many volunteers for various tasks; please see the Volunteer page for the positions and to register.
Everyone, other than the skaters and volunteers who are participating in each show, will require tickets. Parents often volunteer for one show and purchase a ticket to watch the other show. Tickets will go on sale March 4th.
Thursday, Saturday CANskaters
Pre-CanSkate, CanSkater and Adult CanSkaters that have registered for any of the Thursday or Saturday sessions will be in the 2:00 afternoon show.
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday CANskaters
Pre-Canskate and CanSkaters that have registered for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday sessions will be in the 6:00 Evening show.
